We are committed to creating the spaces and platforms that allow young women to Discover and Develop themselves while making a difference through service. We are also committed to reducing Maternal mortality within the West African sub-region through comprehensive female reproductive health education

Our Initiatives

The Letmebeawoman Foundation is focused on women and youth development with a special focus on SDGs 3,4 and 8, which are to “ Ensure Good Health and Wellbeing” for women, “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all”. and “Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.Through our three main initiatives we seek to execute on our core mandate “Raising the next Generation of Good Women” . Our members are encouraged to use these platforms as opportunities for the development of their unique skills and talents through service. These three initiatives are:

Baby & Mummy
Initiative

The BMI is our initiative that focuses on female reproductive health education and support as well as curates a program that supports pregnant teens who do not have support. The program is geared at improving female reproductive healthcare among young women in Sub- saharan Africa and reducing the rates of maternal mortality within the region through proactive care and support. Members get to serve by volunteering for outreaches in various capacities.

The Sister Circle Outreaches and King’s Daughter Clubs

The sister Circle Outreach is an educational outreach which focuses on empowering young girls in the senior high schools through a 2hour on-campus conference with a focus on personality discovery and career development. Following this outreach, we seek to establish the KDC in each institution where members of the clubs go through academic and career guidance and mentorship through our specially curated curriculum. We also promote learning and education by setting up interactive learning centers in less privileged communities. Members get to serve by volunteering to go on outreaches in various capacities and mentoring younger women through clubs.

Pathfinders Initiative

The pathfinder initiative is a youth empowerment program that is aimed at empowering young people with employable skills as well as providing support for entrepreneurs and teams. The Pathfinder Initiative has 3 Skills training cohorts each year which is open for young people between the ages of 18-35. Our members can serve on this initiative through volunteering in various capacities.
