Every man is a link to my chain of divine good!

Have you ever been betrayed or hurt?! ohkay let me not ask! I believe some of us have… Also have you had a really great friend! someone who made you believe again in true friendship or healthy relationships? I’m sure i may have fewer witnessess on this one.

This morning during devotion I was thinking on how Joseph’s Story and Jesus’s story began like it was a disaster, a betrayal! But who knew that that was the push they needed to enter into their glorious destiny. It is told in the scriptures that “the devil entered Judas and He went ahead to betray Jesus” not knowing that in Isaiah it had been prophesied that one should betray The son of Man. The devil entered him but he fulfilled God’s purpose! 😱😱😱. Look at the story of Joseph…

“As they sat down to eat their meal, they looked up and saw a caravan of Ishmaelites coming from Gilead. Their camels were loaded with spices, balm and myrrh, and they were on their way to take them down to Egypt. Judah said to his brothers, “What will we gain if we kill our brother and cover up his blood? Come, let’s sell him to the Ishmaelites and not lay our hands on him; after all, he is our brother, our own flesh and blood.” His brothers agreed.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭37:25-27‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Little did they know that this was God’s one act to send him to Egypt ahead of time to deliver them in later years.

Did you know that every person you come in contact with is there to help you with one of your life’s lessons? Life is a school and some people will enter your life for just a few moments, some for a few days, some for a few months, and some for many years. All of these people have one thing in common – they are there to help you with one of the lessons you need to learn in your life. Can you identify certain people that God may be using to teach you certain things?

There is an ancient saying that “No man is my friend, no man is my enemy, every man is my teacher.” When you choose to look at everyone you meet as a teacher, you will then be able to stop, look, and truly listen to what these people have to say whether they know it or not, you will hear the guidance and direction you need to take for your next step in your life journey.

So many of us go through life not really seeing or hearing others. We are so caught up in the hustle and bustle of the times that we don’t have a clue as to what signs and guidance we may be missing. Oftentimes we are overly concerned anout how they make us feel whether good or bad and miss out on the vital lessons that life may be bringing us through them.

When you don’t stop and really pay attention to your relationships , you will miss the guidance and wisdom that may make your life much better. You may miss the signs that could save you a lot of time and grief later on. You may miss the wisdom needed to make better decisions each step of the way. You may continue to repeat your mistakes. You may continue to “spin your wheels” without getting anywhere or making any real progress. You may feel stuck, confused and hopeless.

The relationships around you are there to teach you. Everyone is a copy of God, only a different version from you… so pay attention. In both great relationships and failed relationships there are always lessons to be learned if we would not be overly focused on just how they make us feel but rather what they are trying to teach us.

Everyone you meet is a teacher for you even if it’s just for the moment. Stop what you are doing and open up your ears and heart to hear the messages that are being sent to you through others. When something goes wrong, learn from it. When something goes well, learn from it. Find your lessons around you. Your life’s journey will be much simpler and less stressed when you choose to stop, look, listen, and learn from everyone you meet.

I’m rooting for you!
