For everyone who knows me very well, I can be very self-critical and I find a ton of reasons to do that. It’s as though everyone thinks you’re so amazing except, you’re the only one who can’t see just how amazing you are!
I know you’ve been in that place at one point or the other.
I struggled so hard, not to believe in myself, but to be my own cheerleader! It was funny because I do amazing work and then beat myself for not doing enough!
The world is cold enough for you not to be your own champion. It’s bad enough that there are haters who will try to steal your shine, without you even trying, so when you think about it… it’s really damaging if you can’t celebrate yourself!
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.”
Romans 8:1-2 NIV
Now here is the breaker for me… God is not condemning you! God is not criticizing you. There is no condemnation for you if you are in Christ Jesus! whether you succeed or you fail. When you fail it is only a step on your journey to success, separate yourself from your failures, they are the fruits of your actions, not who you are!
So if God is not criticizing you why don’t you join God in celebrating you, that attitude of Joy and gratitude gives you the energy to keep putting in the effort till you see the resul you seek!
You are not condemned by God, don’t do it to yourself!
